Speaking of where people live or where they're from... that reminds me of the funny story Deborah (Paper_Nanny) told in this thread:

And before I go further, I need to make a momentary digression. When Husband and I went to get our marriage certificate, the woman filling out the forms asked Husband where his mother was born. Husband replied, "In Nebraska." Form woman looked annoyed and said, "Well where was it?" Husband said, "I'm not sure exactly where, but it was in Nebraska." Form woman looked quite irritated and shrieked, "In a basket? She was born in a basket? Well, where was the basket?"

Husband and I refer to that often in situations where there is that sort of slip between what I am saying and what the other person hears. That slip between my reality and someone else's where communication gets a little weird. If Husband had been in on the conversation yesterday, he may have suggested I ask The Nurse where her mother was born.

Actually rumor has it that when I was born, well conceived, my parents were somewhere in the closely related states of Confusion or Bliss.

But I have lived in Mariemont, and Cincinnati, Ohio; Tucson, Arizona; San Diego, San Francisco, Vallejo and Long Beach, California; Dunn Loring, VA; Port Hueneme, CA; Woodward, OK, Fairfax, Va, ....and now, living semi-retired in wonderful Enid, Oklahoma.

Just west we have Lahoma, still in Oklahoma, but missing the OK part. I think it is in Enid. We do have a WalMart, K-Mart, and a Sears, Penny's and a Dillard's in a small shopping mall. And for real excitement we also have tornadoes and cows across the street. I like it here. Gotta go and check and see if the cows are OK.

Yep, they are all OK. Well, that was easy. Of course they are. Oklahoma is OK. Life is good and it's NapTime ZZZZZzzzz......
