Re: New Cpap Pillow from SleepGuy

I received one of these pillows to try also a couple of days ago. I wanted to give it a few days trial before I made any decisions. I also have tried many pillows with my cpap and the best one at that point was a water pillow and that still wasn't ideal. I had heard one person mention a buckwheat pi...

Re: Looking for advice: P10 or Swift FX

I have both fx and p10. I like both but I prefer p10. The fx has air vent holes in front so your partner will feel air if you turn toward them. The p10 mask is thinner and flatter so it feels like its hardly there. I have no problem with it not having a swivel. I highly recommend a hose lift if you ...

Re: has anyone tries the new smaller sleepweaver mask?

The company I ordered it from is very good and is going to exchange it for the small. when you also found the regular size too big did the width seem good but the length too long? When adjusting if i pull it up it goes on my eyes and if adjusting down it goes on my mouth.

Re: has anyone tries the new smaller sleepweaver mask?

Well the reason I asked is I purchased the sleepweaver mask already and it is too big. They recently released a new "small" version and I wanted to see if anyone has tried this small one and how small this actually is.

has anyone tries the new smaller sleepweaver mask?

Sleepweaver now has a small size nasal mask. Has anyone tried it yet?

If any of the ladies have the P10 and it isn't working for them would be interested in purchasing from you. Thanks.

Cant understand the big swings

Hi, Thaanks to the great advice I have received I have managed to get my AHI down considerably....sometimes. What I cant understand is every night I go to be around the same time, wear the same mask and have the same settings by one night I have a good number and the next my AHI will be way up. Can ...

nasal pillow mask that doesn't blow air out front

I have a swift fx nasal mask I like but the vents blow strong out front and that causes me a few issues. Is there a nasal pillow that has a more difused vent or one that doesn't blow right in the front?

Re: lower AHI's on weekends?

I couldn't tell where the max was set at from the images I saw. Looks to be at least at 15 cm. I think I would just open it up to 20 if it were me and see where it wanted to go. Should it go high enough to cause problems (leaks, aerophagia, etc) we can always limit it. Very appreciative for all of ...

Re: lower AHI's on weekends?

It appears that you are using APAP mode with minimum of 8 cm with EPR of 3. That minimum pressure is sub optimal and the machine is not able to do a good job preventing the airway collapse because it can't respond quickly enough to get up to a pressure that would hold the airway open. Sometimes red...

Re: lower AHI's on weekends?

I can't see the detail I prefer on the trend graphs you posted...plus they are tiny and I can't see the numbers. But if your AHI is in the 7 and above range most of the time and that AHI is primarily OA and/or hyponea then your pressure is likely suboptimal....and yes...there's room for improvement...

Re: lower AHI's on weekends?

And one more question, if your are diagnosed as having extreme apnea (over 30) do you think it is unreasonable to expect the API's of 1 or 2 that is see a lot of people getting or should I be satisfied with my current improvement and not worry so much about my numbers? I do know I have improved so m...
