Re: ResMed new nasal cradle mask - AirFit N30

Quick review, the N30 I ordered arrived yesterday. I've been using the N30i so this is an easy crossover. It's very, very quiet with the diffuser and cuts the amount of air being exhausted from the mask as with the P10, though to me it seems quieter. The pillow are comfy and for me, fit well using a...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

I've been using the N30i that last few days. Before the DreamWear gel was my go-to mask. It was the best of the bunch for me. And...I'm moving to the N30I. I'm a woman and using the standard frame. I think most women would need the smaller frame. The mask seems more stable to me all around. I'm a si...

DreamWear gel mask replacement schedule

I'm trying out the DreamWear Gel Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask and like it a lot. I had been using the P10, which is a great mask and the lack of ability to tighten up the back strap is really annoying since it stretches so much over time despite washing it in hot water, etc. The DreamWear is more stable f...

Re: Does excercise worsen central apneas?

There are a number of responses to exercise. Exercise stimulates the adrenal gland to release adrenaline and non-adrenaline that directly affect the heart and the ability to transport oxygen and carbon dioxide. These hormones affect the sympathetic nervous system to stimulate the heart to beat stron...

Re: See this? Airing Micropap

Never mind, it would appear that the search terms I used to see if anyone had discussed this were not those used in an already existing discussion.

Just trying to be helpful.....not spamming. Seriously!

See this? Airing Micropap

Anyone heard about this? I did a search before posting to see if there was any previous discussion. http://www.fundairing.com/#first-ever-micro-cpap Yeah ...well....for me, it just raises a zillion questions. Disposable, pressure settings, costs, comfort with the prongs up your nose, seal, obviously...

Re: AirSense 10 Humidifier badly discoloured after first use

I checked in with cpap.com last week after noticing the same discoloration in the same place. I have used distilled water since I got the unit in late August and clean the tank as suggested. They checked with Resmed and this appears to be an identified problem. They are supposed to get back to me ab...

Re: CPAPfit Pillow Illustrations - feeback wanted

One of the primary features of your pillow is its flexibility and adaptability to the various needs we all have. My concern is that the diagrams don't convey that flexibility. I'm nos sure what you can do about that. But videos would probably do a better job in the long run. Using language that real...

Re: Should I try the Medium size pillows

You large leak percentage is only 0.12%. The scale may be a little misleading here. Are the leaks bothering you? Waking you up? I'll let others comment on pressure needs and adjustments like closing down your range some, perhaps changing the EPR setting. It seems like you had some clusters of REs wh...

Re: I just got my new airsense 10 Autoset

Usage hours: 8:19 hours.......The most sleep I've had this past year was 6 hours. Usually I averaged about 5.5 hours. I had been awakening super early. I always fall asleep fast! Events per hour: 3.8 Pressure : 7.3. ********** this is an interesting number as my pressure was set between 9 and 16. S...

Re: I HATE THIS MACHINE!

Ya know it's really understandable to run into frustration with treatment when you are getting into the swing of this. I mean, who really wants an alien strapped to your face and purring in your ear every night. But our attitude makes a huge difference. We can say "screw it" and watch our health, re...

Re: Airsense10 and data collection

I have the AS 10 for Her. Yes, there is more data just as Pugsy wrote, periodic breathing and RERAs. Yes, you have to set it up or have it set up to the appropriate pressure(s) , depending what mode you run it in, just as you would for an S9 Autoset.

So far,I like it.

Re: Happy 10th Birthday/Anniversary CPAPTalk!!!

I cruised this board as I was being diagnosed and was able to push my doc for an APAP and be very assertive with the supply company to get the mask and exact equipment I wanted. Then working with people here to get tuned in correctly was such a blessing.

I'm so glad this place exists. Thanks!

Yikes, I have not used IRC in quite a while. Gotta go dig up a decent client. mIRC still a good choice?
