Happy 10th Birthday/Anniversary CPAPTalk!!!
Happy 10th Birthday/Anniversary CPAPTalk!!!
I've been meaning to check on this for some days because I knew it was getting close.......but finally remembered to do it.
As near as I could tell, the oldest post I could find on the "1st" page was on: Mon Aug 23, 2004 10:26 pm
So, you're just a couple of days past your milestone.
Anyway, Happy Birthday/Anniversary and THANK-YOU Johnny, Carolyn and all of the folks who have provided and keep this forum running so well.
Best wishes for many more.

I second that! This forum has been a 'lifeline' in the dark for me as I start the CPAP journey. Many thanks to all who have helped and continue to do so

Wow! Many congratulations to everyone involved! Is the OP still active on the forum, and what was the topic of that first post? What is the total number of posts in that time, and is the number each year still increasing? I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to "facts" like that!

Ten Years! What a great milestone.
And like the others -- many thanks for all you have done (and continue to do) for the cpap community. A lot of us wouldn't be where we are without this forum.

Heck yeah! A big happy anniversary (birthday?) to Johnny and Carolyn for running a pretty cool business and for sponsoring this forum Didn't I read somewhere long ago that this site was originally a freewheeling CPAP exchange forum and that when that collapsed the Goodmans took over and pretty much gave us what we see today?

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: Happy 10th Birthday/Anniversary CPAPTalk!!!
I have been visiting this forum for five of the ten years it has been running. Found it by accident, but it has been a lifesaver. Thanks to Cpap.com for providing a wonderful service to literally thousands.
Re: Happy 10th Birthday/Anniversary CPAPTalk!!!
I managed to find an older post. The dates of the oldest posts in those pages way back are a little jumbled, but I think we're in the ballpark with the anniversary date of August 23 2004. I was thinking I had seen an "announcement" post with the opening of the forum (way back when), but can't seem to find one.
Wouldn't you know it? It's a post about "cleaning".......LOL

It was a very short thread... The only name I immediately recognized was SleepingUgly.

I looked up myself and it seems I joined on Oct 19, 2004! Wow! I found the forum by searching. I had been diagnosed in Sept of 2002 and was looking for help. I didn't know that the forum was that new when I joined.
I am very grateful that cpaptalk.com was here and that I found it. I have had immeasurable help over the years fro many people and I hope I have helped some in return.
Happy Anniversary!

Thank you for sponsoring this site. It might have been a much harder road to travel without the advice of so many people.
