The sleep Dr. I was seeing couldn't get the data from the card. I took it home and fired up my ResMed software, downloaded, printed out a report, delivered the hard copy, and they were happy. Just saying you can bring it to them. They may be shocked that a patient is that interested in the treatment.

should i print detail data in rescan for doctor to see?

Post by luke1985 » Thu Aug 28, 2014 3:09 pm

Okay I need one more bit of advice. Should I print detailed data in rescan for the doc. The reason is its 63 pages long. Lol is that what the doctor meant to say? it stated he wanted to see my 30 days device. He told me to go to dme. But I don't think they would print this. All I think they would seen is 30 day compliance. I am past that point. The detailed gives the doc alot to look at but I don't know if wants to through 63 pages. Please let me know.

It's time to make an executive decision. Pick 2 pages that best illustrate any questions you have. On the back of one of the pages pencil in your compliance information. On the bottom of the pages pencil in your name, contact information, and mention that a more complete view can be made available on request.

I did the simple compliance report by doing a simple 1 year of days over 4 hours to satisfy the powers(?) that be. Then a summary showing actual hours, leaks, and events during the last 30 days. If there was a question I had about an event, I did a detailed for that one. I tend to have one 20-30 min of mouth breathing that he wanted controlled. I suspect that on my next annual with my GP I will bring in the 1 year simple and the 30 day summary. The sleep Dr. retired and I do not see the need for me to go to another specialist. I would like to see if she, GP, is interested in the sleep apnea I am controlling, currently 12 years with fewer than 10 nights non-compliant and an AHI of ≈ 1. I am one of the lucky ones.

You can set up customized reports that you can name and save. Resscan sometimes doesn't see too intuitive, for me or the sleep Dr's staff.
