sleepyhead

Post by Maryd » Tue Aug 26, 2014 6:02 pm

Every morning I check my progress with the Sleepyhead program. I notice that if I check it later in the day, sometimes the data changes, although I do not reinsert the memory thing. Any reason why this happens?

Why would that cause the data to change? I'm not napping and using it during the day. I check it in the morning at around 6 and when I come home from work, at around 5, I go on to analyze my data a little more and that is when I notice the the AHI has changed (usually for the better) and the event number has changed.

That should not happen.

Can you maybe keep a more specific record of what is changing? It would involve taking a screen shot in the AM and the comparing it to another screen shot in the PM.

I have never heard of this happening but then most of us don't go checking the data twice in one day. I am doing good to check it once.

How much of a difference are we talking about?

Do you do two imports? How are you comparing data - on the screen or in sleepyhead or both?

I am looking at the data on the Sleepyhead program. I do not think my machine tells it all.

Tomorrow I am going to take a picture of the data in the morning and in the evening. I am obsessed with the Sleepyhead program. I am amazed at my progress with the CPAP. I was never a Sleep Apnea believer, but the progress I have made is remarkable. Sleeping better..falling asleep (most of the time) faster, and my AHI is usually under 1…sometimes it is a 0 and I get a smiley face!!!!

I just noticed the same thing just today. 8/20/14 was my first day with my machine. Today my AHI was 23 when it had been 18.9 for that day. Thanks for your post now I know I'm not crazy.

ok, thanks, see if you can get a 'before' and 'after' screenshot showing the problem, and tell us if you did another data import or anything...

Wouldn't you know...today the data didn't change. When it does I'll post the two views!
