Best Travel CPAP

I want to buy a travel CPAP that's small, auto sensing, with a humidifier and would really appreciate suggestions from those of you using travel machines.

There's a school of thought (I may be the only one who subscribes to it ) that says get a travel machine that is similar to your main machine so you're familiar with its operation.

I use a PR Series 60 (560P) machine at home and I travel with my PR Series 50 (550P) backup machine. It's not super compact, but it's very reliable, and I just grab the 550P and go without needing to tear down my home setup. I could skip packing the humidifier if I wanted to go super compact, but my nose likes the humidity.

I am told that the Transcend is noisy, but I have no personal experience with it.

I prefer to travel with a machine I know well and don't have to think about how to operate or get in the menus. So my travel machine is the same make & model I use daily. It serves as a source of spare parts should I need them. Esp. humidifier chambers, etc.

And believe it or not you get used to the way a machine feels when you breath thru it daily for 8hrs or so. The last thing you want when traveling is a bad nites sleep. Or not know how to set it.

Mask the same thing. Believe me when you find a mask that works for you - you will want to get spares of those also as soon they will just stop making them.

Also if you use software to track your therapy - life is sooo much easier if you only have to learn (deal with) one software package.
