Question about mask and Bella loops.

Post by H4X0R46 » Sat Aug 23, 2014 6:24 am

Hello! Does anybody know if there is a full face mask that has Bella loops or something similar? I did my research and didn't find anything of the sort, and was wondering if somebody knows something I don't. It seems VERY hard to get used to my airfit F10 because I hate laying on a thick strap like this one, what is a good alternative for this? Maybe even a full face mask with a small unnoticeable strap, this one is thick enough to bother my head and neck. Thanks guys! I know I've been posting a lot, but I'm new to cpap and you know how frustrating this can be! xD

As far as I know all the full face masks have those straps that you don't like. That's one of the reasons I won't use one.
The Bella Loops or something similar...never seen a full face mask that had that sort of anchoring system. The Bella Loops are designed for tiny lightweight nasal pillows and there's no way to have the multiple anchor points with them that is needed to keep a full face mask held into place. Besides that much tension would be rough on the ears.

Edit...I forgot about the Oracle.

Nasal pillows are the only type of mask that can be held reliably close with minimal headgear.
{{If only someone would combine the wisp and the Tap Pap.}} (sigh)

For a full face mask, you could try Pad-a-cheek's strap covers.
Making the side strap soft and fluffy helped a great deal.

Headgear for the ResMed Swift FX nasal pillow mask (also works on the Nano cushion) that goes around the ears instead of over the head.
