Sleepyhead doing goofy things, inconsistent

Post by hyperlexis » Fri Aug 22, 2014 8:19 am

Has anyone had any problems with Sleephyhead on a Windows 7 PC showing inconsistent numbers? I was reviewing my data and noticed that under 'pressure' it had my pressure for several days starting and staying above 14. My Rx is 12-20. So this is odd, because OptiStart on my machine has not re-adjusted me up to start at 14. I have been pretty constant starting and holding at 12.

So anyway I start looking at other dates' data on Sleepyhead and they too show starting and staying at 14+.

Then I go back to and click on the more recent dates and it shows the pressure was starting at 12. Same for the other dates. I then look at more dates, and again, and they go back to showing 14+ starting and holding pressures. Crazy. Back and forth.

Something is a tad off with these numbers I think. Is there a glitch in the recent version of the software? It supposedly has it auto-updated to the most recent version.

Can anyone please email or send me the link to the Respironics Encore basic tracking software. I had it a long time ago but it got lost when the computer needed the OS reinstalled. The old link I had no longer works.

I have been waking up more and more often from leaks recently and it has been hurting my sleep. So I wanted to check why the machine has been bumping up my pressures up to 15, which, apparently, it has been doing while auto adjusting.

Hi Hyperlexis,

SleepyHead is pre-release software.. Please don't expect it to do v1.0+ software things just yet.. PRS1 Importer was written without any manufacturer support or documentation, so it takes a lot more work to get things working consistently. Newer machines came out since my importers were originally written that did things differently.. Not easy to keep up with undocumented changes.

0.9.6 is the latest build available from http://sleepfiles.com/SH, and it's quite a way behind the current source code version..

I've been working on a TON of bug fixes and improvements for the upcoming 0.9.7 release, which includes fixes for the inconstancies you mention above...
There are test builds currently being thoroughly tested by the beta testing team to make sure they are ready this time for general use.

It won't be long now and SleepyHead will have a much more solid release available for everyone.

/Mark
