Bay Area DME recommendations?
I'm looking for a good DME in the Bay Area that preferably stocks Respironics machines. I got a list of DMEs from Stanford, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good DME?

I use Apria and have been extremely satisfied. Rapid and friendly service. However, there are adverse comments in this forum about Apria.

Right, did they give you a data capable machine?

I found one with excellent Yelp reviews (note that Apria and co all have lackluster reviews < 3 stars):

I've had great service from the Menlo Park Apria which is closest to Stanford but I guess it depends on where you are located.

I'm certainly no expert, but to my understanding most smaller DMEs will be willing to ship you equipment, masks supplies etc after you have an initial in person visit with them. Of course a lot of this is up to whoever your insurance company is willing to work with. Medicare simplifies things a bit tho they typically cover just 80%.sleep_quest wrote:I've had great service from the Menlo Park Apria which is closest to Stanford but I guess it depends on where you are located.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
