... beneficial? Thank you! reasons to increase: 1. 6 cm is a very mild pressure. 2. lots of events are undetected, such as 3:58:00-3:58:20, which is a RERA 3. your CAs are caused by flow limitation, arousals, hyperventilation, and CA. The root cause is still flow limitation. Just give it a try, one ...

Do I even actually have sleep apnea? At a loss for what to do from here.
... It is always a cluster of random events, both clear airway events and obstructive apnea events mostly, but also usually with the other stuff (RERA, hypopnea) sprinkled in. Yes, they still fall under an ahi of five, but I don't understand what is going on, as people say increasing pressure ...

Breakdown:
Sleeping position was supine.
Apneas: 13
Hypopnea: 14

Re: Long time CPAP user, pressure set to 15.0 permanently
I have look of surprise!
Given the amount of FL I would not have expected APAP to result in in any significant pressure changes, but not only did that occur, when significant FL did appear, it did not respond despite obvious FL with arousal (RERA):

... what they are (I have talked to numerous consultants and doctors). These events are definitely waking me up. They don't appear to have the normal RERA or Hypopnea look to them (no decrease in flow rate prior to the event, so the event does not look like a recovery breath to me). I have spent a ...

... nose issues and need to be address in other traditional nose treating ways. I am not so sure that you have UARS either.....you aren't showing any RERA flagging and you need to have RERAs to help diagnose an already hard diagnosis to make. Adding EPR will often help reduce FLs as LONG AS THEY aren't ...

Re: RERA?Flowr Limtation?
How are positive pressure ventilators currently used to handle RERA and Flower Limitation events? 1) CPAPs and APAPs are not ventilators. Whether one considers a bilevel PAP machines like a Resmed VAuto or a PR BiPAP a ventilator or not is a slightly different ...
