Respironics Bi Pap SV Auto alarms

Post by Gatamaz » Thu Aug 21, 2014 5:26 am

The last 3 nights I have not been able to use the machine. Before I fall asleep
the alarm goes off and it is always 3 beeps then 2 beeps (32). Does anyone
know the significance of 3 then 2 beeps. The mask is not leaking. I have tried
lowering and raising the settings and nothing seems to help. Probably going to
call the medical firm and order a new machine. My machine is about 5 years old
and is the older grey model.

What does it say on the display? I don't know what that particular pattern of beeps means, but it's probably failing a self-test somewhere.

If so, call your DME.

Probably the old Legacy series machine.

Go here and request the provider manual and see if it lists the beep alarm codes
this manual
Respironics BiPAP AutoSV (Complete Manual, not the PR System One version)
from here
http://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p ... tup-manual

You most likely need to have it checked out though.
If you can't find the codes I may have the service manual for that machine on disc somewhere (but don't know where the disc is at the moment) so let me know and I will try to find it....that is if I have it.

Here are the high priority codes for the legacy machine.

Most end up with a call to the DME
