Good luck with your machine/mask combo. I have NO clue about the F/P brand, have never seen one in person, even. The mask might take a little adjusting...like, it works GREAT one night (or for a few hours), then it needs a bit of tweaking as gravity and pillows moosh your face. I'm fat and old, I found this one out the hard way.

The F & P Icon Auto is full data machine. It is compatible with Sleepyhead. If it uses a SD card that's all you need.

I think you are thinking about the special module needed for the Devilbiss machines that is an option that costs $100.

AAV, I know it was hard to decide to take that first step. I'm glad you decided to do it. Some people adapt very quickly to using the machine and some of us struggled with it for months before we finally adapted. Even if your first experience is good, it is quite possible that you'll hit some frustrations along the way. When those frustrations hit, feel free to come here to rant and ask advice.

I used to be a smart ass, but then some people I care about suggested I wasn't being terribly smart and was just being an ass.

Right you are, (as normal), I'm pretty well (I think) up on most of the resmed stuff, somewhat less on the respironics, and the rest of 'em are "things I've heard about but don't know much about"

I've got to take it in in two weeks for him to unload data. According to the instructions, I can check some sleep data, don't know how much and all that. Got an alarm, flight mode, altitude adjustment all that crap,. Like a cell phone. I admit I like the size, not very heavy. Can take it traveling with me. Right now, trying it without water but will eventually probably have to add some water for humidifier. But still, haven't fallen asleep on it yet, just got it, will sleep on it tomorrow. Ok, thanks for your responses. I suppose I should have done this a few years sooner. Thanks again. Smartasses included.

The module can be acquired for less; when bundled with the machine--a lot less.
Talk to our sponsors. They can be flexible.

The F&P has something called Info Technologies that needs to be added to get full data.
