Compared the price to Resmed masks this mask is half price, and the replacement cushions are about half also. The mask works well for me, but ev...

Re: maybe I don't have apnea, or is CPAP really THIS good?
...unfortunately the machine can't fix stuff unrelated to sleep apnea. I will add one totally non-apnea benefit of the machine that I've found. I am basically hot all the time. Maybe you need to adjust your meds, blood pressure, blood sugar, etc. Some people needed to cut down on their BP meds beca...

Which resmed s9 you have? There are two machines, the Autoset and the Escape. Its written in top of the on/off button. If you have the autoset then you can install the software and look at detailed data. Then you can post a screenshot to give us more idea.

What is your humidifier setting? If it is too low or too high it can cause nasal congestion.

Check the humidity setting and for any leaks, both can be a factor.

Re: Got a new s9, Kinda mad since the s10 just came out
You appear to have EPR turned on. When EPR is turned on, the machine lower the pressure for the exhale and then return it at the start of the inhale. This might be the reason for the forced breathe feeling, you can try turning EPR down or off. Here is the clinical manual if you don't have it http://...

I read that there is two different protocols for scoring hypopnea that labs use. First one do require O2 desaturation to happen with the hypopnea , otherwise they wont score it. With the other one they will score hypopnea even without desaturation. So, she could have higher hypopnea index without it...

Re: 1y CPAP user in Netherlands with some questions
Not all people are candidate for sleep apnea surgery, it is not that reliable anyway. It should be a last resort.
