CPAP purchase from Japan?

Post by AManInJapan » Wed Jul 30, 2014 9:29 pm

I am based in Japan and am currently using a Philips Respronics CPAP via a local sleep clinic.
The problem is that I need to go to the clinic once a month and each time it costs almost $50 the visit & CPAP rental. I have been using it for over 1 year now, so costs are adding up and I want to purchase one - any advice for a good model that ships to Japan? Ideally looking for something light, quiet and with data readout that I can analyse.. TIA

Sign up and become a member. Then you can search for the other members from Japan and send them a message. There are special shipping web sites that will allow goods to be shipped anywhere. Our host in not allowed by the manufacturers to ship either Resmed or Resperonics out of the USA. You become a member of the shipping site and then your goods are shipped to the PO box which forwards it to you.

A Resmed S9 Elite or autoset or a PR system one 60 series are both the best models. Sleepyhead software (see Pugsy's tutorial thread) is free software available from one of our members.
