Re: Hiatal Hernia
At one time, a doctor told me to drink some water when I got up in the morning and then jump off a stool. Often that will pull the hernia back into place. That's called a sliding hiatal hernia. I certainly would not recommend this in place of taking your doctor's advice. I did not take that advice a...

Re: Non-Vented Masks
Non-Vented masks are used regularly in hospitals: http://www.resmed.com/int/products/hospital_nv_full_face/hospital-nv-full-face.html?nc=dealers Cpaps tend to wash out the needed Co2. I'm not talking about added Co2 just preventing it from washing out which would be increasing it over regular Cpap ...

Re: CPAP Newbie-Day time breathing discomfort
Thanks for the tips and patience, slowly finding my way around! Currently this machine is a 30 day rental so I will be looking to purchase my own in a few weeks. Unsure if I will stay with this system and set up or do some research before making a choice as it is a big investment (especially since ...

Something high in octane added to the Kool-Aid today? If you don't give a sh*t then why bother posting? So all of us could see just how smart you sound? if only you'd drunk all the kool-Aid, and not just enough to kill the rational part of your brain! baiting you is kind of like poking an anthill w...

Re: should I get a new machine?
I also have an S8 Autoset that I have been using for almost 5 years. I really don't want the hassle with insurance so I am looking to update to an S9 out of pocket. I might be looking at one currently offered on my local Craigslist. I have been getting my daily AHI off the LCD screen and my therapy ...

Re: Speed drying for Cpap Hose?
I agree with Julie.....To me, trying to dry a hose is a complete waste of time. Especially when you wash the hose and then hang it in the bathroom a few feet from the toilet. All that is in the hose is your filtered room air mixed with vapor from distilled water. By the time you get the hose dry you...

Re: Retention of detailed S9/ResScan Data
I want to preserve all of the data from my S9/ResScan 4.3 downloads. As time marches on I don’t want be losing the old traces and other detailed stuff. Is this just a matter of clicking the right buttons while downloading? Or do I need to take other steps? I’d also be interested in ideas to keep it...
