One month follow up

Post by Chelle25 » Wed Jul 30, 2014 6:23 am

So I have been using my cpap a little over a month now. Feeling much better and have seemed to get all the bugs worked out thanks to this forum.

I have new insurance now but went into see the new doctor yesterday. I brought him a copy of my sleep study and I also printed out my last months report on sleepyhead for him to take a look at. He says from the report it looks like I am doing very well and that cpap is working for me.

Also got him to give me a script for a new mask so that I have a back up.

Just wanted to share

Excellent - was the mask a duplicate or an alternative model?

Not sure yet. I'm in the middle of insurance. I just switched over so the DME has to see what the insurance is willing to pay out on this and what I have to pay out of pocket. I spoke with the DME today and they told me when they figure out the insurance part that the respitory therapist will give me a call and fill me in.

Just waiting on that call for now.
