rebe, your machine is more recent than either of my S9's that do accept SDHC. If you've got any other SDHC cards, for instance, for cameras, try them if you would.

One thing I've found over many years of working with SD cards is that even when the specs are correct, some SD cards just won't work with some devices.

sdhc works fine in my '13 vpap.

that's good advice about trying different ones, I ran into that issue recently with a gadget that was very picky about what microsd it would take.

I have 2 SDHC cards 8GB each.
The first one has a C2 and gave the same error.
The second one is marked 'High Speed' though the C is not mentioned. When I inserted it , the usual 'Reading card' came up but this went away very fast. I tried it again - same thing. I inserted card in the computer and nothing was written.

I keep mentioning the speed because my camera only takes a card with at least C4 - so the first card gives a similar error in the camera, while the second one works fine (in the camera only!).
And yes prior to testing the 2 cards were formated fat32 with GParted.
BTW, when I sent in the ResMed card, I used an old 512mb SD card as replacement and this one worked just fine

Am I correct that there was no error message with the second card? Did you look and there was no DATALOG directory on the card? Did you use the S9 machine for a while with the card in it?

Try putting the "good" 8 GB card in the machine and using the machine for 10 minutes or so. Then turn the machine off in the normal fashion and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. I've heard some speculation the S9 machine may not write the data immediately.

Or experiment with shorter time periods at first and see if that works.

So this morning I inserted the 8GB SDHC 'high speed' card into the machine and put on my gear and started the machine for 10 or 15' . And I stopped the machine, waited a bit , and put the card into a reader and placed it into the usb port of the computer. And the card was empty
