Round trip air fare to SF for me is a little over $1000 plus 5 days in a downtown hotel is at least $200 per day for another $1000 plus meals cost of maybe $40 a day for another $200 and even with the student fee of $100 that adds up to $2,300 or so.
Still pretty pricey for me.
hey JDS74!
the conference is pricey for a commoner/patient like yourself. If you would like to attend, i suggest you should go for group registration for which we can provide hefty discounts.

Catherine:
Thank you for the kind suggestion. I really would like to attend and I qualify for the student rate.
It's the other costs and travel that gets in my way.
If I lived in the Bay area, I would attend in a heart beat (or quick breath as it were).
I hope the conference goes well.

People are planning for over a year from now ? I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow.
Actually, yes. For a conference this size, it takes a very long time. I was on my high school class reunion committee two years ago for a class of 500, and we spent a year and half in meetings.
Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.

So what's the deal with Dr Badr, that he is not welcome?

Maybe that was a typo
I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Perhaps you should offer a DVD of the seminars. I can't imagine many non-locals willing to spend the money to travel there. But we are interested. You keep posting here, knowing that we are pretty much all patients who don't live anywhere near your event. Give us an option that works.
Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

It should not be much different than Sleep Medicine 2014:
http://www.sleepmeeting.org/attendees
If you're there then ask Resmed rep at the Exhibitors what technology is new in the latest S9 line (especially the S9 Autoset), and which mfg year it relates to (the year that is embossed on the black plastic base of the machine?
In 2014:
More than 120 exhibitors make this
exposition the premier event in sleep
medicine for products and services;

I said it once, and I'll say it again, you dottering fool, (simply because your misinformation may mislead other people)
the date on the plastic is the year the plastic part was made, not the date the unit, or more importantly, the software inside, was made.
the *ONLY* difference is what software version it has on it, if you can even detect a difference in different versions.

The gluten conference offered web attendance for the major speakers. I believe the cost was the same as attending (without the costs of hotels & food and travel) Plus there was the option of receiving the recorded seminars.
