Newbie Here :)

Post by woody74 » Sun Jul 27, 2014 12:21 am

Hi guy's, just joined and wanted to say hi and introduce myself , My name is Jamie, I'm 40 years old, married to my beautiful wife for 19 years, have 7 children, 5 boy's and 2 girls aged 15 years down to 3 years I have been using a auto cpap machine for the last 8 years, some day's good some bad. In the last 12 months I have done a breathing course (Buteyko) , and have had good results, between using my machine and the breathing exercises, a lot less if any ,foggy day's. Just like the idea of having somewhere to come and read about all the things we all have to deal with. Anyway that's about it, looking forward to getting a lot of info off all you out there . Cheers Woody

Hi and welcome... please feel free to ask anything you want and say the same. Your machine must be getting pretty old (past the time I think when most pack it in), have you looked into a new one? The newer models have so many more features to help you sleep well and track progress so you can tell just what's going on and how you're doing, plus there are lots of really knowledgable and experienced people here.

Welcome, Woody! You may be a newbie to the forum but surely not a newbie to CPAP. Looking forward to your posts!

To someone with OSA, this saying takes on a whole new meaning:
"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
