Repair for broken ring on Philips Comfort 2 Full mask ?

The part of the mask that has the vent and onto which the hose connects is retained from the inside of the mask by a single, flat small ring, ...barely visible... except when it breaks!

How do you repair the Philips Comfort 2 Full mask when the retainer ring breaks?

I've had this ring break on me on several masks, usually while I wipe it inside, even though I'm not doing a really strong or pressuring movement. It means the part that connects to the hose separates from the mask and falls out... It is such a pity to loose a $130 mask for a ring that seems it must cost less than $1 to make...

Is there a fix for the ring, either a repair or a replacement ring?

(p.s. whole-mask replacement is a separate DME issue from this topic, I am only writing here about fixing the mask and keeping it)

Not clear on the part as it has been a while since I have used this mask. In the past, I had a problem with the bridge breaking. I sent a note to Respironics saying that I thought it was odd that the part broke and they actually sent me two replacement bridges. Saved having to get a new mask. I was a impressed with their response.

Nice to know that price! Right now I'm using a spare, but if that one breaks before my insurance allows a new one I guess I'll have to buy a new one... unless I get a reply from Philips.
btw please review your Philips link, it is broken, or please list the phone # where they will attend to customers?
In past calls I tried to make to Philips, they referred me back to my DME, did not want to deal with a patient.
(As for my DME, they warranty a mask only for 30 days, while the mask manual itself, says Philips warranties it for 90 days)

Was a number of years ago, but I am fairly certain I contacted them via their website that had a feedback form. I took a quick look but didn't find such a link now but didn't have a lot of time to look. Will look again tomorrow.
