Where to get the lowest cash price on an S9 auto set ?

I'd like to get a second S9 with humidifier and ClimateLine and mask. It can be used or new. From where would you purchase these ?

I got a backup cpap a few months ago from secondwindcpap.com, "gently used"...with a 6-month warranty. Not the lowest price, but I'm unwilling to risk Craig's list or other dubious sources for something that is so important to my health. I wanted to have a good feeling about what I was getting, as well as paying less. I've used it overnight a couple of times now to check it out, and will be taking it on a 3-week trip real soon.

The lowest price? Craigslist, but only with a face-to-face purchase where you can check out the actual machine thoroughly. Be prepared to watch listings daily and wait for a steal of a deal or a price drop (and then make a lower offer).

I am very happy with the machine I bought through CL, but I admit it was one of the creepiest things I've ever done (I've led a sheltered life ).

STL Mark, an established forum member, occasionally has new machines at fair prices. He posts availability from time to time.

i've gotten all my machines off craigslist

when they wanted cash, I met 'em at a starbucks, plenty of people around, and available outlets to plug the thing in and check it out.

Another vote for Craig's List.

About a year ago, I picked up an under 70 hour Phippips Respironics System One Auto-CPAP (model DS550HS) with heated humidifier, hose, 2 masks, for $175 shipped from Las Vegas to Virginia.

Most people selling xPAP machines on CraigsList do not know what they are selling so you will have to email them about taking a picture of the model numbers and how to find the blower hours settings, etc.

Don't overlook that you can search all of CraigsList at once. http://www.searchcraigslist.org/

I sell electronics online on Craigslist and Kijijij in Toronto and yes you can get the best prices on there but i would suggest being careful.
Just here alone in Toronto, last year a man was killed when taking 2 men out in his pick up truck to sell it and last week a couple of teens were robbed and beaten when they went to see another car.

If you haven't ever purchased that way, just be careful and if you can, arrange to meet them at a coffee shop, although I'm not sure to many sellers, especially a hot item such as this at a good price is going to want to drag it to a coffee shop. They may just sell instead to the person that comes to their door.

Granted, these are RARE situations but its always best to be careful.

Or if you can, take someone with you.
But if you can overcome that, you always get the best deals

Whatever works for you but if you know what you are doing, you will never have a problem.

I bought a brand new S9 Autoset that came with a carry bag, SD card....everything plus an upgraded climate hose and even then a brand new Wisk Nasal mask in a sealed back all for only $650

The Elite is only $420.....all brand new. Cant beat it but i could pay close to $1000 for it instead elsewhere

Too out of date. Too many expired listings on it
