The problem is not "having OSA and side sleeping in an Adjustable Bed at the same time."

The problem is "side sleeping in an Adjustable Bed."

It doesn't matter if you have OSA or not, side sleeping in an adjustable bed when it's adjusted with the head of the bed raised and the foot of the bed to be raised but kept level simply is not conducive to side sleeping.

Thanks, and if anyone has one, feel free to comment if you like it or not. I cannot believe the number of negative and horrible reviews on the official Sleep Number website. (I am surprised that they even print these negative reviews) And yet, I have co-workers who swear by the adjustable beds and love it. Thanks.
Two years ago we bought a bottom of the line Sleep Number bed and a 2 or 3 inch "cool" memory foam mattress topper. The bed is NOT adjustable.

We love the bed. I am aside sleeper. And hubby is a back/tummy sleeper. The Sleep Number Bed is the first bed we've had in 30 years of marriage that actually allows my hips to "sink" in while providing proper support for my back. And hubby's back. On our previous firm mattress, I was simply too light for that to happen.

OK, real short sample size, but two nights on this new tempur-pedic mattress, head slightly raised, have been very good in terms of AHI and leaks. First nite AHI= 0 and the second 0.13 I would frequently get scores like this on the old mattress, so I don't think one can conclude anything yet.

Better sleep? Right now, can't say for sure!
