I can't get the leak rate anywhere near zero, even while awake. By adjusting the angle of the mask, I can choose to have it leak at the top or the bottom, but I can't eliminate the leaks. Using EPR ...exhale pressure relief...will drop the pressure during exhale which might help your aerophagia issues. I don't use a chin strap with a FFM, so I can't help you with that question. However, I DO use a chin strap with nasal pillows because I'm a stubborn night-time mouth breather and couldn't find a FFM that fit me well. Chin strap works like a charm for me. No more mouth breathing.

I just checked the machine, and EPR says "full time" and EPR level "off".
