Re: Exhausted

Just a follow-up. I noticed Resmed supplied me with a medium sized headband for my huge melon. I ordered a large one and wore it for the first time last night. My average leak rate went from about 2.7 to 0.43. I slept through the entire night with no leaks that I was aware of. It looks like the head...

Re: Exhausted

Yeah, I have a bit of a knobby nose, so I might be having the same problem. I might have to go to the pillows myself. I have a very narrow nose (17mm eyeglass nose width measurement when most only go down to 19mm) and cannot get any size of FFM to seal around the bridge. If I try to seat it lower it...

Re: Exhausted

So I tried both products that were recommended in this thread, and to be honest they Padacheek didn't help much at all. The Remzzz's seemed to help for a little bit, but I'm still getting a lot of leaking around my nose. I'm thinking maybe it's because I have a very large head and they gave me a med...

Re: Exhausted

I was considering the nasal pillows but I frequently get congested at night and thought the Quattro FX would be more comfortable. I guess I can take a look at that one and see how it feels.

Exhausted

I've been on the CPAP for about two weeks now. Using the Philips PR System One REMStar 60 Series BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex with a large Quattro FX FFM at 17/13. Things seem to start alright, I get to sleep (eventually), but then about 3-4am, there are leaks all over the place. Last night was the first...

Re: CPAP help with finding a provider

Thank you chunkyfrog, this forum has been very helpful for me and scared me off from Apria anyway. I'll find someone else.

CPAP help with finding a provider

I've been going through this process about three months now, trying to get my equipment (multiple sleep tests and multiple doc visits...I feel like this is all a big ripoff). Finally, today I was supposed to go into Apria's offices and get fitted for a mask and pick up my cpap machine. Not only did ...
