I did try it 2 days ago thinking the same thing but my AHI shot up there again. Granted maybe it wasn't long enough to have waited but it turns out that even with the stuffiness gone, i still am opening my mouth with the nasal mask.
I was always a mouth breather. In fact its the mouth breathing that caused my dentist to ask me if i maybe had sleep apnea. My mouth was unusually dry. Otherwise, as far as i knew i slept like a baby.
But i was diagnosed with Severe Sleep Apnea
Opps sorry, I just remembered what happened.
That morning, the next, I woke up with dry cotton mouth the first time ever that that happened to me when using a nasal mask.
When stuffed up, I guess I was taking the mask off.
With the nasal rinse i was less stuffed up, if at all but for some reason I did open my mouth so i got that cotton barton mouth feeling
