Re: 2 months in and have some more questions - UPDATED WITH A NEW QUESTION
I've never heard of anything like that. Good to hear :) Thanks for responding! Yep, I have that issue at times during the day. It's called "Exertional Dyspnea", and is usually caused in people that have asthma, but CAN be caused by anxiety. In my case, I have both asthma and the chronic bronchitis ...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions - UPDATED WITH A NEW QUESTION
Sorry... Hope this helps. Since starting APAP I've been having trouble breathing during the day. Feeling like I'm not getting enough air, shortness of breath, rapid breathing, etc. Chest x-ray is clear and nasal passages and airway seem fine. No other obvious indication of a physical problem. Could ...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions - UPDATED WITH A NEW QUESTION
So an updated question.... I saw my ENT today to check on a few things. There's nothing physically going on in my nasal passages or airway to cause my breathing problems. (and my chest x-ray was clear). The ENT said (admitting he's not a sleep specialist) that perhaps there's a chance that my brain ...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
Here's the overview of my Respiratory Rate... Over the last 53 days it seems I have a min: 0, med: 20.4, 95%: 23.80, and Max:50 Does that seem unusually high? I've noticed that when I am having wake ups I feel like I'm breathing fast. And I've notice quicker and more shallow breaths during the day l...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
Another question because waking once or twice every hour with no obvious cause is bugging me...
The respiratory rate. Is that breaths per minute? Cause looks like I'm consistently 20-40. Isn't normal 12-20??

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
the mom light sleeper thing is definitely true and something I can't ignore. I'll try to be more congizant of other factors and continue to monitor my data to make sure there isn't anything that comes up that's abnormal. And I definitely need to work on my daytime dryness and inflamation. Just order...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
well thats good to hear. I'm not sure. I know I wake up for the day earlier than I would if I didn't have a toddler and once in a while when my kid doesn't sleep through the night he wakes me up but I'm not worried about those obviously because that's just a reality of the stage of life I'm in. And ...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
OK I'm going to take a look and post some pics of my SH data when I get home later tonight... ... in the meantime I thought of another question. I realize that cleaning practices are highly individual and based on one's own comfort level. I have been wiping down the pillows and mask each morning wit...

Re: 2 months sore & dry mouth tried more humidity, tape, chin strap
Question along these lines... is it possible to be mouth breathing / opening your mouth regularly and have a 0 leak rate or would your mouth opening always be reflected in the leak rate? I have similar issues to the OP and thought it could come from opening my mouth (also a tooth grinder) but my lea...

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
Oh... That makes sense I think. It's like your breathing isn't normal but not "event" worthy?

Re: 2 months in and have some more questions
Ooops, hit submit 1 question too soon. 7. If I'm getting a low AHI (<1 every night and averaging .38 per Sleepyhead) do I just let things be and assume any sleep issues I'm still having (wake ups mostly) are not apnea related and try to work those out separately? Usually it's safe to assume not apn...
