Covid/CPAP question
I apologise if there's already a thread about this. I've been trying to search but my search function isn't working right right now. I haven't been here in a while because I've had my CPAP stuff dialed in so again I haven't read anything about this. I'm pretty positive I have covid. My son does and ...

Re: Sticky: Phillips Respironics recent recall notice discussion thread
Just seeing all this. Can someone confirm for me this doesn't impact PR masks...?
I don't see masks listed anywhere but want to double check.
Thanks!

What are you using for a hose cozy at the mask's short hose? Is the condensation in the long hose or just in the mask? https://i.imgur.com/v7zqGN8.jpg Fleece hose cover for the short hose (and another on the long hose). Condensation is happening in both hoses but more often and more troublesome in ...

At a loss... help please
CPAP user for just over 3 years now. Took the first 6 mo to really dial in all my settings but it’s been pretty smooth sailing since. Come this fall and winter I’ve noticed a lot of airway irritation and discomfort while breathing. After ruling out any other cause for it, I decided to try changing u...

Re: AirSense 10 cleaning question
I'm glad someone asked this question.
So there's a section of the machine that carries the humidified air from the chamber to the hose. Does that section of the machine not get wet and gross and in need of cleaning?

Re: Have you had a COVID-19 Vaccine or have an appt?
Got my second moderna dose this last Wednesday the 27 (had the first on 12/30). After the first dose I had a mildly sore arm that started about 12 hrs after the shot and was gone after another 12 hours. No other symptoms. After the second shot my arm was sore within a couple hours. After 24 hrs I st...

Re: Increasing AHI postpartum
Thanks Pugsy... I'll keep an eye on them but chalk it up to crappy postpartum sleep I have little control over. And hope it improves back to what it was as soon as is reasonable. And ChicagoGranny - I am but this is more about me being desperate to create a better postpartum experience than I had la...

Increasing AHI postpartum
Hi there! I've been using CPAP since I was diagnosed in January 2018. It's been working great for me. A difficult transition and a pain in the ass but effective and my AHI has been low. I'm 14 days postpartum and I've noticed my AHI has gotten higher since I got home from the hospital. Granted I kno...

Re: BiPap vs Cpap
Is there a reason why someone would use a bilevel as opposed to an APAP? Wouldn't APAP be ideal for anyone with sleep apnea?
