Resmed S9 Autoset won't record to card -

Post by ImRichard » Thu Apr 24, 2014 11:12 am

Hi -

Just got a new machine. Using Sleepyhead software, my SD card doesn't record data. I have tried a different card but nothing. Am I missing a setting in the Menu where it says to 'save/record to card' or something like that? The Menu seems rather straight-forward, but I can't find any settings related to the card. It occurs to me that the machine might not recognize Sleepyhead software, but that is just pure speculation on my part.

Help!

Thank you -

Richard

Most SD cards have a safety switch--make sure the little tab on the side is in the "write" position while it is in the machine.
It sometimes needs be in the read only position when in the computer.

What kind of a PAP are you using?

Some PAPs only record usage data, and if you have one of them, SleepyHead will not be able to read any data off the card because there is no detailed data to read. If you have any of the following PAP machines, that's the problem:
  • Resmed S9 Escape
  • Resmed S9 Escape Auto
  • Philips Resprionics System One DS 150 (model 150)
  • Philips Respironics System One Series 60 SE (model 220)
  • Philips Respironics System One CPAP Plus with C-Flex (model 250)
  • Philips Respironics System One Series 60 CPAP Plus with C-Flex (model 26)
If you are using a Resmed S9 Elite or S9 AutoSet, the Sleep Quality setting must be set to ON instead of USAGE for the machine to record any detailed data to the SD card. And the Sleep Quality setting is only accessible from the clinical set up menu.
