NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo.

Same cushion as the Quattro Air for the F10?

I've yet to find a FFM to fall back onto when the allergies or congestion get bad. : / Last time my DME was very very nice and patient and tried I think everything they had in stock but the cloth mask, the comfort gel fit but triggered panic attacks like the Quattro Air did (which the Quattro Air also leaked like crazy). : / I was really hopeful that the F10 would maybe fit and not leak, as it looks nice and nothing-around-the-eyes and like I could still wear my glasses with it on if they gently rest over the nose of the mask and like that I'd not have the panic.

The N10 looks like something my grandma could like a lot though. Next time I've got her on the phone I'll let her know about its existence, she prefers nasal masks to the nasal pillows.

Good luck SleepyStar at finding something that works for you. Have you tried the Quattry FX. Not for me, but perhaps could help?

Well, the Swift FX with the bella loops and Airfit P10 in rotation are working very well for me right now (Every 3rd night I've switched this month so my hair doesn't get too screwed up nor my ears get too bothered), my AHI's been <1 most nights. (turns out vertigo'll spike me up quite a bit though. heh. Mostly better from that now though, and my AHI's back to 0-0.4!)

I'm just on the hunt for allergy-season backups. Turns out my 2nd floor apartment gets pretty hot so I've had my windows open ALL the time when I'm home and awake. (I'm afraid of rain while I sleep raining on my stuff, and I don't want them open when I'm at work.)

I tried the Quattro FX at my sleep study and it kept leaking like crazy. But I really did enjoy the way it felt, leaks aside. If it just didn't leak so badly I'd have totally went for it. I didn't wake up in a total panic with it like the Mirage Quattro did at a few points, but it was the best fitting of the ones there so I just went with it. I was so stuffed up I couldn't get airflow with a Pillow that day.

Basically all the full face masks leak on my left side right below my left eye and right in that crinkle when you smile just under the lower lip on the left side, too. Hasn't seemed to matter much what brand yet either. I haven't tried a cloth mask yet though, I wonder if that'd be an option....

Actually, looking at the N10, that looks like a pretty good mask too.

What's a cloth mask?

I also found the Quattro FX leaked a lot although it did feel good otherwise.

https://www.cpap.com/cpap-masks/cloth-cushion.php - Here are some cloth ones. I haven't tried one yet but I figure it may be worth a try down the line.

Yeah, I really loved the idea of the Quattro FX just the fit wasn't there for me. It's why I saw the F10 and got my hopes so high until I saw that wrinkle about the cushion.

OMG! SleepyStar, you know how you feel claustrophobic with the Quattro Air? I got a hot flash just looking at those cloth masks. It feels like I would die of suffocation and heat! I've never had that reaction before.

Hmmm guess I won't be trying those. Thanks for showing them to me. I didn't know they even existed.

The F10 looks kind of narrow to me. Has anybody gone from a Quattro FX to an F10 and noticed any fitting problems with their mouth seal? Maybe there is more room in the F10 than is apparent on that plastic head in the picture.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

The fabric masks are way cool on warm nights.
Condensation from your breath gets into the fabric, which has the same effect as a canvas water bag.
Remember those? Water seeps into the canvas, and evaporation cools the water inside.
It's like an Amish thermos.

In an earlier post (I can't remember how to link to a place in a thread) StuUnderPressure posted a link to a news release on Redmed's page that announces these two masks. I can't figure out how to get to that news release without going through StuUnderPressure's link. I think that cpap.com's page has information on the cushion (I think it's the same as the Quattro Air cusion); you could contact cpap.com and ask them.

Thanks France - yes I saw the news release but there's nothing on the product page. There were no clear pics of tge cushion on cpap.com's page either but I'm too lazy to email anyone right now.

You can find it on the ResMed page by going to the main page and then hovering over or selecting products and at the bottom of the dropdown there is an option for "Product Series". Select that and then scroll down and select "AirFit Series" and select 'Read More" and it's there.

Could you provide links please.
I can't find it either and I have been all over the ResMed site.

Huh. So if you do a search for airfit, you can find it. But it's still not on the products list.
