puffy face

Post by facetime » Sat Apr 19, 2014 1:59 pm

A while back I asked it anyone else experienced a puffy face from using their CPAP machine. And no, my mask was night too tight.

My face seems to be less puffy since I lowered the moisture level on my machine. I had it set at "6", thinking moisture is a good thing. I now keep it at 1 or 2.

I do not use the humidifier on my machine, yet I awake all puffed up. And I don't have my straps too tight either. And I use RemZZZ's.

I guess some of us just have the skin, or retention issues that make us look like we've been on a toot.

If I have a really good night, my eyes will be really puffy when I first get up. I use my eye drops, and they get better quickly. I suspect I have some air going through my tear ducts. But since it only happens on my best nights, I consider it a small price to pay for a great night. I don't want to do anything that messes up those great nights.
