I've had the SoClean2 for over a year. I love it and would buy it again. spoken like someone desperately trying to convince themselves they didn't piss away several hundred bucks, or, possibly a paid advertisement. Search on this forum to find other posts about it. most of them negative. Sorry to d...

Re: SoClean 2 - CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer
I just saw this post. I bought the SoClean2 over a year ago. I love it and I'm glad I bought it. I'm asleep much more than I'm awake every day. And when I am awake, I have very little energy so I value devices that make my life easier and save time. You can search for it on this forum and you'll fin...

Re: What do you do when you have to be in the hospital
I would also (If possible) order new supplies like mask/hose etc and bring them to the hospital still sealed in plastic. I've read opposite advice which recommends bringing old cpap supplies and then discarding them before leaving the hospital. The reason was to reduce the possibility of picking up...

Here's another idea ... Take your CDs to a FedEx Kinkos and ask if they'll duplicate the CDs. http://www.fedex.com/us/office/CD-DVD-copying.html

I agree about Roxio software I use a version that is about 8 years old. I usually use the latest and greatest versions of software, but not with Roxio. I'll keep using my old version until it no longer works. I only use it for basic tasks and it does them easily and well.

Re: URGENT! - How do I make an EXACT duplicate of an MRI disk??
I've done this many times on Windows XP machines and on Windows 7 machines.
I use Roxio software and select the copy DATA disc option. It makes a complete copy of the cd (the MRI software and the MRI images.) I always test out the new cd after I make it to be sure it works ok. Good luck.

Re: Setup ResMed S9 with SoClean 2
Don't return it. It is an awesome unit once you go through the confusing setup process. Google "Soclean Resmed Setup" and watch the YouTube videos. I have the SoClean2 and the Resmed Autoset 9. I love the SoClean2 and would not want to CPAP without it. FYI: I don't have any connection with the compa...

I think the medical device tag is most beneficial for the gate agents who scan your ticket before you get on the plane. Otherwise they might stop you and say you have too many carryons.pdeli wrote: Also, is the "Medical Device" tag essential?
I made my own tag.

I'd just use large Ziploc bags. You can buy sizes larger than 1 gallon at stores like Target.

Re: Flying with Oxygen
I started on oxygen in February which was just 2 weeks before a trip which involved flights and cruises. I flew on American which also has very specific rules regarding portable oxygen concentrators. They don't allow oxygen tanks. Their website has a form which you have to print and have your doctor...

Re: Traveling to Italy - backpack for CPAP?
Someone suggested SLR camera bags. I would avoid nice camera bags because they send a message that valuables are inside. The risk of theft is very high in Italy, especially while using public transportation (trains/buses/subways.) I would choose a bag that doesn't look like it contains valuables. If...

Re: Mask advice wanted
I don't use a nasal mask so I don't know for sure the name of it, but there is a cloth mask that might work for you. I think it is called Sleepweaver... my cousin has one (blue, I think), and it looks like it might be gentler on your sore spots. I use the Sleepweaver Elan cloth nasal mask. It wasn'...

Re: AHI is OK, but feel much worse. Lots of centrals.
I'm the OP with an update. I switched sleep doctors last week. My new one was willing to look at my detailed data that showed all the central apnea events, oxygen, and pulse data. (My previous sleep doctor said I was doing great just because my monthly AHI was around 3. She didn't take into account ...
