I won't be buying any more masks that do not have adjustable head gear! one size DOES NOT FIT ALL. That new mask has very skinny stretch straps that will be stretched out in no time at all. Unless you have a giant head - I would not buy one lol,

For sure, this will not work as a one size fits all. However, if this one size fits you my bet is you won't need to adjust for stretch over time. Try one on, you never know. This might be everything you dreamed a mask could be;)

Luckily I have a humongous head (or so I've been told) *smile*.

My understanding is a ffm requires the straps to be tightened a fair amount (never used one), so I could see how with a ffm you would get some stretching. However, I use the swift fx, and that mask is actually pretty loose on the head when they fit well. In fact, the most common fit issue with pillows seems to be tightening them with the straps too much. I cannot see how my swift fx straps would ever stretch, as they simply fit loose. Maybe this will be the case with the P10? Straps don't need to be tight so stretch will not be an issue. I also plan to get one in a couple weeks, and I will report back: n comparison with the swift fx and nano.
I adjusted my straps 18 months ago when I got my Quattro. I have not made any changes to the straps since. I washed the straps once in that time.
The mask fits like it did when I started using it.

Just ordered, I love the Swift FX but my wife doesn't love getting blasted with cold air! I tried the Pilairo Q, which addresses the air blast problem but is way too noisy and not as comfortable as the Swift FX. Here's hoping that I can finally have it all...

How has your experience been? I have also been using the Aloha and loving it, paying cash, since my private insurance wouldn't cover it. Now that I'm on Medicare Advantage, which will pay, I've found that none of the approved distributors in my area carry or will order Devilbiss products. Only Resmed or Respironics. If this is a good replacement, it could save me some bucks.

Thanks for your reply.

If you did well with the Aloha I think you probably would do very well with the AirFit P10....
check the main forum page...there's a thread with lots of reviews/pages of people's comments on it and I think one other smaller thread.
So look at the threads on the main forum page (as of today) and you will see lots of comments. Most of it has been positive.
As with any mask out there...there are lovers and haters but the lovers far outnumber the haters with the P10

I have tried nearly every mask out there and this is the best I have tried. I haven't had a problem with the fit. I just move the straps to where they fit. I don't know how long the headgear will last because I haven't had it very long. With every other mask I woke up several times a night, but now I am able to sleep all night.

After 6 weeks and 6 masks, I have finally found the one for me! I love this ResMed Airfit P10! I was skeptical about how it would work 'cos I feel like I'm a mouth breather, but I have a chinstrap to wear with it and wow - it's amazing!!

Just to let people know, I've been using this mask for over 6 months (since June) and it's been fantastic. The straps have not stretched out and are indeed "adjustable". The mechanism is quite ingenious - spread apart to make it tighter, closer together looser. Apparently if you wash the straps it will help shrink the straps as well. Occasionally the straps do slip when sleeping, but it has not been a major issues for me (once every 2 weeks+?). Very light weight, overall very happy.

My previous mask was a SwiftFX, and that was pretty good already, the Airfit P10 is definite improvement.

Longevity wise, I'm estimating the mask will last about 10 months (straps are looking a bit worn), I already bought a second one, but I'm going to see how long before my original P10 gives out.

It's great but it tends to stretch out over a few days and leaks so I had to tie a knot at top and now it's great again.

I have this one ne, with heated tube. First time with a nasal pillow. ...So, how far in my nose is this supposed to go? When testing, I have a hard time exhaling. Nose holes feel constricted. Plus I have a stuffy nose 99.9% of the time. How would that affect it?

I have used the P10 for about three months and the straps are stretched out pretty badly.

After about two months, I had to tie off the straps to shorten them, first one side and then about a month later the other side. It is comfortable and quiet; my wife likes the lack of noise and lack of breeze better than the Swift FX I used before.

I may run the old P10 through the dishwasher to see if it tightens things up once my new one arrives.

This mask replaced my Swift FX. With the Swift FX the nose pads were loose after three months and by six months I had run out of adjustment to tighten the strap.

Yes, I do have a bit of a large head.

Here is an idea to re-tension the P10's headgear:

The Velcro hooks will grab the headgear fabric.
