Re: Online CPAP - North of the Border

I just found a new one last night - "Monster CPAP". i will be trying an order. I have mainly used cpapclinic.ca. They are good - reasonable prices and quick shipping.

last night

https://imgur.com/NCN8Zxm just looking for comments. I have used cpap since 2002 and I think things are set pretty well. This is a fairly consistent night, for me. It looks very good, to me but I have not posted a graph for a long time and wondered if I am doing as well as I think. I have Rheumatoid...

Re: Any suggestions for continued nocturia?

Since your AHI is low, I would try setting a very narrow range. I don't know what pressure was set, as a result of your sleep study, but I would set my lower pressure - maybe 2 cm below that and the upper pressure maybe 2 cm above that. That lower pressure may need to be raised, as time passes -but ...

Re: Cold house and CPAP

It seems to me that the OP is fairly new to cpap, so is just wanting to be reassured about this situation. You are probably fine to use it now.
As the OP gets used to cpap, he won't be asking things like this. Bear with him!

Re: Virtuclean cpap cleaner

Thanks for all the replies, so far! I found this on Amazon, for around $160 (Canadian). I use wipes to clean my nasal pillows every day, but, I too, am lazy about further cleaning!! My Rheumatoid Arthritis, and the meds I take for it, compromise my immune system, so will check it our further, but th...

Re: Can cpap cause neck problems?

When I was first starting cpap, I used to tense up my neck and shoulder area, with the mask on - causing a stiff neck in the morning. Eventually, when I got used to it, I did relax and this disappeared. I also got a contour pillow (not a specialty cpap pillow). That really helped a lot, too. Some th...

Re: Does anyone give their mask a five star?

You are correct, in that, no mask is perfect for everyone. This one is perfect for me, right now. After all these years, a cpap mask seems like a natural part of my body, when i put it on to sleep. I would not sleep well, if at all, without it and my machine, after all these years. I would be very c...

Re: Does anyone give their mask a five star?

I'm very happy with my mask, a P10. I've used many masks, since diagnoses in 2002. This has been the very best - for me a 5! I have used it since it came out. And - yes - I "sleep like a baby" , almost every night, even with arthritis pain! Again, I am disappointed that the first response, almost, t...

Re: Strange disconnects

I had a disconnect problem for a while. I would wake up, no being able to breathe, I thought it was a machine problem, but it was a mask problem! I use the P10 nasal pillows. I adjusted the straps on the headgear. The directions for doing that come with the mask. Problem solved!! I see you use a ful...

Re: xxyzx and Morbius Spam Buttons Removed

This thread is now 7 pages long! There are only a very few people who have posted to it. Many of them are defending their words/actions or accusing other posters, who have commented. This is not really doing anything about the situation, in my opinion.

Re: xxyzx and Morbius Spam Buttons Removed

I have been a member of this forum since 2004. As long as I have been here, this nonsense has been going on! Different people have joined, and left, who take pleasure, it seems, in demeaning people. I wouldn't want to even guess at how many, over those years, have said - I don't need this- and have ...
