SleepUp Products??

Post by JK » Thu Feb 10, 2005 11:15 pm

Greetings Folks:

I just found a web site--www.israel21c.org that gave some sketchy info about a company called SleepUp and a couple of their products for treating OSA. One product is called AICOT (airway collapse treatment) and is some kind of dental appliance. Another is the AICOT attached to a small, battery operated air compressor and known as FPAP (Free Positive Air Pressure).

Anybody know anything about these products--availability, cost, quality, etc.? The net info claims that the compressor is quieter than CPAPs and does not have the cumbersome tubing that CPAPs usually have. Sounds too good to be true!
Cheers,

JK

My understanding is that this is a new product that does not yet have FDA approval for marketing in the US, but they are starting up for an aggressive marketing campaign.

I haven't run across anyone yet who is doing any research or who has actually seen one.

Dave,

I'd love to get a hold of these products. If you hear of anyone with samples or any domestic testing please let me know.
Sincerely,
