Re: Ramp Time?

Sorry about that. In my original post I wrote "No Ramp Time", then I realized it was actually called "Ramp Time Off". I messed up editing the post and I've corrected again (I hope). The bottom line is my AS11 is set to have the Ramp Time Off . That is what it shows on the machine's advance Ho...

Ramp Time?

I downloaded the data from my AS11 into ResScan today.

ResScan is showing a ramp time of 20 minutes. That came as a surprise to me since I was sure I had Ramp Time set to OFF. I checked the machine and it does show Ramp Time Off via both the Home and Clinical settings.

Any ideas?

Re: ResMed Airsense Auto 11

At my settings, I get two night from a full tank. With the massive amount of rain we've had here in southern CA lately, I've been getting 3 nights. It easier to spill water from a full tank. I found the solution to that was to tilt the tank towards the fat end when moving it.

My AS11 didn't come with a card either, I just used the one from my AS10.

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet: Heated Hose is Not Working

What is your Tube Temperature set to? Mine is set to 68 degrees. That's about 20 degrees lower than my skin temperature ... The tube temperature setting will never "lower" the hose temperature. Its thermostat will cause it to turn on at or below 68. If the ambient air temperature is 75 degrees, you...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet: Heated Hose is Not Working

What is your Tube Temperature set to? Mine is set to 68 degrees. That's about 20 degrees lower than my skin temperature so the hose isn't going to feel warm to my touch. I would think if the temperature was set high enough for the hose to feel warm, the blowing air would be uncomfortably hot.

You could unplug the CPAP. If you still hear it beeping, it's something else.

I have nasal pillows, so I just whip it off, and press the off button on the machine.

Re: New AirSense 11 Autoset questions

I don't see any reason why you can't trim the air filter material. I'm sure it's the same stuff. I was going to do that with the filters left over from my AS10 but my order of AS11 filters arrived just in time. And 73 is not excuse for not learning something new. I'll be 75 in a couple of weeks (tha...

Re: Resmed 11 Power connector type

As an avid DIYer, I understand your desire to make your own cheaper cable, but considering that you have to locate a weird connector, figure out how to wire it and hope you do it right so it works and doesn't damage the machine, IMHO it would be best to bite the bullet, spend the $30 and move on.

Re: Airsense 11 tank almost empty every night

This past Friday I finally got the hygrometer I ordered on 12/4...actually that one was "lost in transit", so that had to be investigated and I had to reorder one. Now I can report that the room humidity for the past 4 days has varied in the low to high 40% range. That should be a comfortable humidi...

Re: Airsense 11 Water Tank - Not "clicking" in correctly?

I've found that if I slide in the tank gently it sometimes doesn't work. I wouldn't say that I slam it in, but I slide it as far as goes, then firmly push it in the rest of the way.

Re: CPAP machine filter: Necessary or just another revenue stream?

This reminds me. I need to open my desktop PC and blow the dust out. Do the same to yours if you want to see how much dust accumulates in a machine that has a fan sucking in the room air.
