Re: lower events per hour with airstart than airsense?
It has Essentials Plus just like the airsense so you can see the same events per hour number you would on the airsense under sleep report screen.

Re: lower events per hour with airstart than airsense?
ahhh. so its not calculating the centrals at all then. do you think it's actually a different algorithm entirely rather than just detection? my understanding is it doesn't do anything for central anyway.
Thanks!
Thanks!

lower events per hour with airstart than airsense?
Hello I'm getting lower events per hour (displayed on the sleep report screen)with the airstart apap machine than with my airsense 10 autoset apap Machine. This test has been over a few days on each and then switching each night back and forth. Do they use the same algorithm or are they different? i...

Re: ASV Problems - Help
DME will often refer to my machine as bilevel aswell instead of straight asv or adapt or another name, honestly I think they just don't care exactly what you have. I have the s9 vpap asv also. When your breath is shallow or stopped it will compensate by the rush of pressure to get you going again. T...

Re: Weight loss advice!?! - join in the fun
Well I'm back to give an update I my weightless goals.... I'm now 215 lb and feeling great! I ran 16 miles yesterday and was barely winded . I managed to stay mostly on track with 30 minutes minimum of exercise daily. Even when I broke my pinky toe. I've been on the "wonderslim diet", and learning t...

s9 vpap flipped over!
My s9 vpap turned on it's side ! I woke up in the morning to find that I had tugged my hose and the machine was on it's nose (hose in back was up, rounded part of machine was down) I have the humidifier, Does water leak into the machine when it's in that position? Did something bad just happen?

Re: s9 adapt "Whoooooooo" noises on exhale
Went to DME , says its the turbine back spinning and it would likly be less bothersome with a nose mask instead of my full face. BUT I should only use a full face with this particular machine.....
How many who actually hear the noise are wearing nose only masks?

Re: how long can a hose be Resmed s9
Of course it's locked into my brain , I'm a musician, can't play along if you can't hear the beat ! it's like a drippy faucet, some people have no problems, some people will turn into murderous maniacs and everywhere in between. When I use ear plugs I don't hear it and sleep fine but I can't stand e...

how long can a hose be Resmed s9
how long can a hose be on Resmed s9? I don't want to disrupt pressure, but i also want to be further from the machine (exhale honk/whooo noise is bothersome to me{I know some like it})
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: s9 adapt "Whoooooooo" noises on exhale
Really wish I had known of everyones machine "wheeeeeeesssssoooooooppppooooooo" before forcing my DME to get me this machine, truly disappointed in resmed, this machine was looking good. Does anyone know a place I can upload a recording of my machine so I can link it here and we can all say if we're...

Re: How many Resmed S9's DON'T have the bird sound ?
I DO have the noise as I've expressed in other posts. I've been sleeping with silcon earplugs, drown out the noise but also my alarmclock This is the first I'm hearing about the EPR possibly causing the noise, I will look into this tonight. How annoyed will my Dr be at me changing the setting? will ...

itchy Nose Quatro FX
I guess this could be for all full face users... I use the Quatro FX and s9 adap and find my nose getting itchy constantly. I then am faced with either basically fully waking up and hitting the off, or lifting the mask (will go to full blast, screw with readings) and scratching or moving the mask ar...
