Re: Cheeks puffing like a blowfish on pressure 20
I have the Quattro FX and have woken up several times with the mask riding up my face and my mouth below the mask. I am a mouth breather, I also have the blow fish effect at times too. Most times though the mask stays put. I don't know why sometimes it rides up like that, I know that I sleep with my...

Re: POLL: How long until you started feeling better
I was getting up 5 to 6 times a night to pee before cpap. That stopped within 4 days. You can not get good sleep when you get up out of bed 5 to 6 times a night. Yes, it was immediate relief for me and my wife. I did the same thing, when I did not have my machine (before diagnosis) I would get up t...

Re: POLL: How long until you started feeling better
I put 5-7 months because although I felt a major difference pretty much in the first week, I really did not see a significant turn around until fairly recently. I think it took me like four months to get it together with the right mask and pressure etc. I also think that for me, it took a while for ...

Re: What is your machine sitting on?
I have mine under my bed on the floor. I really should get something to set it on, but I would need it to fit inside something, because I am afraid that something from my lamp table will fall on top of it. Small room, and not enough space. When I am not using my mask I drape it with the hose over my...

Re: snoring and cpap
I know that I still snore with my mask. Not half as bad as I used to, but it still happens.

Re: cleaning or sanitizing humidifier
I think that the mold may have grown due to the rinsings with regular water in between dishwasher once a week. I just disassemble mine and put in dishwasher once per week on sani rinse. I also use distilled water only. I have had no problems at all. Looks brand new.

Re: Titration done! But....
Laying on my back even with the mask on and pumped up air, is a no go for me. I just can't sleep on my back at all. My apnea is just out of control in that position. I am tempted to get something to prevent me from rolling on my back but it doesn't seem to happen too often. But when it does... oy......

Re: Do surgeries to treat mild/mod apnea work? Results/stories?
Also a Pulmonologist might be the way to go with a specialty in sleep study. My ENT also said I was not a candidate, but always get second opinions and make sure they are knowledgeable on sleep study. As it turned out, once the sleep study was said and done and I was given the script for a good mach...

Re: Numbers Ain't Everything
Zeo seems like it records more data ( sleep stages) than Sleepy Head. Is it free like sleepy head or does it have to be purchased?
