After spending an hour typing my post it vanished before my eyes. Since I was ranting, mad, fruatrated, and upset. I am not typing it again.

Please fix crate some sort of fix (a warning to save, or an auto save) so we don't have to retype.

The board operators started this thread in October to get feedback on real problems encountered by us when they made a major server farm switch. They allowed it to remain open and I believe they do, at least every once in awhile, review it. There have been responses when actual operational bugs have been mentioned. Other stuff, like suggestions, are most likely are not ignored, but neither are they acted upon. They have a business to run for a living and this forum is a gratis operation by them. We have to keep our expectations realistically low.

Improvements in this board would likely result in increased business for the sponsor. I find CPAP.com to be a truly outstanding commercial website. CPAPtalk, on the other hand, has some shortcomings that make it less user friendly than it could be.

Specifically, it is awkward and dysfunctional not to be able to see what a thread is about without going to the effort of opening it. Functionality would be greatly increased if when cursoring over a thread title the first 15 or 20 words of the original post were revealed. Most people fail to write adequately descriptive thread titles. Should I take the time to open a thread titled, "Mask problem" or "Machine Repair" or "Should I upgrade?" Most of us don't have the time to open everything.

I appreciate this board - it offers great advice. But like everything else , it could be made better.

This may not be all that easy to accomplish, I don't know. I was just now on another forum that uses the same forum software. Pop ups with the beginning of the message are not available there either.

I really like this site. A lot a valuable information and helpful people.
Couple of things:
1. When I searched for "UPS", nothing showed up, so there may be something wrong with the search engine.
2. On at least some of your "Index" definitions, "multiplied" should be replaced by "divided".

I would think that giving the users the ability to upload their charts would be Very helpful in this forum.

I see something on the forum I'm interested in and want the quick link visible as I'd forget where it is if I had to look for it. No, my memory hasn't improved a bit since starting treatment a few years ago - can't remember when.

I have a Resmed VPAP Adapt SV.
I cant find it on the equipment list.

The choices in the equipment listed are limited to products that cpap.com either offers for sale now or has offered in the past because the choices link back to cpap.com and they are the hosts of this forum.
They have never offered the S9 VPAP Adapt SV but they have offered this one which is the older model of your machine.

When a piece of equipment is not offered as a choice then we just tell people to add it to comments instead.

It is my belief (assumption?) that it was a conscious decision on the part of our hosts not to provide a prominent direct link to their commercial site, since some forums may ban links to other forums that are too directly linked to specific commercial enterprises. I respect the choice, if that is the basis, since it may allow more people to find out about, and to get, the help they need.
