I'll let others share their recommendations for new members / users of xPAP therapy. I can share my own experience. I've used CPAP/ BiPAP and now ASV for more than 20 years. With each new machine I had reached the point where I was STARVED for sleep. And in each instance, I would take about one week to bounce back from the extreme sleepiness. At the start of the week (with the new therapy), I would sleep most of the day. By the end of the week, I could sleep 6 to 8 hours and no more. I was ready to tackle the world.
That's just one persons experience. I think you'll see from others posting to your thread that it can take weeks and sometimes months to clear the sleepiness. We all have unique needs. Hopefully you will find that in just a few days you will awaken fully rested and ready for the world.
Best wishes as your journey continues.
