Re: I am ashamed of my cpap?

I just lost my wife last year to breast cancer and have started dating this year.I was showing my new girlfriend around the house and when we went into the bedroom I introduced her to my cpap and said what it did and the condition that I had and all she said was it is better to wear it than to die n...

Re: Need advice for traveling to Mexico and Bali

I am also in Mazatlan for 2 months of the year and find because of the dust I have to change the white fine filter every week so bring lots of them.I also require a humidifier at home but here the humidity is usually 80 to 90 and therefore I dont use it.One less thing to worry about but everyone is ...

Re: Full Face Mask recommendations for rounder faces?

Try the Nasal Airel11 it is a nasal prong mask,I two love the air up my nose and the mask is relatively cheap but buy the one with all sizes and try it out.No mask marks no clausterphobia and easy to clean. My mask of choice for the last 2 1/2 years.

Re: Canadian DME wins the Highest price Award

Yes I also live in Manitoba, and because they will not give you a machine that gathers data you have to rely on how much water is left in the humidifier to determine if your mask is leaking or not.

Perhaps you could give the machine to someone who needs a back up,better than trashing it.

Re: Airports are still swabbing Cpap's

I fly from Winnipeg to Mazatlan every winter and have never even had to remove from the travel case, just asked if it was a cpap machine. No problems at either end, more interested in liquids.

Re: Will a Nasal Mask work with high pressures?

Although my favorite mask is the nasal prong at a pressure of 14,my motherinlaw has used the Resmed Utra Mirage nasal mask at a pressure of 23 for the last 6 years. So do not feel that you have to use a full face unless uou are mouth breathing.

Re: Mouth taped, cheeks puff, how do I stop that?

Pugsy hit the nail on the head, hang in there and given time the cheek puffing will go away if you keep your tongue against the roof of your mouth.

Re: Everyones Take on seeing a counselor?

Why not get used to wearing the mask by firstly wearing it while watching tv sitting in a recliner for an hour or so just to get over the panic situation.Once you are more comfortable wearing the mask you will treat it like a dear friend that is only trying to help you sleep through the night.Rememb...
