Automatic, the only Hans Rudolph mask I tried (tossed it after about 15 minutes of trying to stop leaks!) was the Full Face version. Bought it on Ebay for about one-third the regular price - used once. It came exactly as described, looked brand-new, perfect condition. Even though it was a small, it was wayyyyy too big for my face (average woman's face - can use either small or medium or standard in most masks.) The "small" HR was huge on my face and kept springing leaks all over the place. Get one stopped, here'd come another. Certainly glad I didn't that buy that unwieldy thing at full price. Got one good thing out of it, though - I cut off the big silicone chin cup to make a nifty mouth dam back when I was experimenting with various things to control mouth air leaks.

Rested and Wader,
Good to hear from you both. Thanks for the input on the HR mask. Any idea on the other items? Based on my readings here, the respironic, resmed and puritan bennett lines are the most popular. Will experiment with other lines and let you know how they turned out...AUTOMATIC

Some may do ok with a ResMed Mirage Vista, but I've read quite a few reporting it was prone to leak air into their eyes. That was my experience with the Vista too...leaky up around the top into the eyes. The ResMed Swift, however, gives the same benefit (nothing in front of the eyes) without being leaky, imho. A bit noisy though. Seems there are trade-offs any which way we go.
