Any problems using aura headrest with apap machines?

Post by lookingforrest » Mon Jan 16, 2006 5:35 pm

I just got off the phone with cpap.com. I ordered the PB 420e and the Everest Aura Headrest. I was told that any mask with narrow tubing is not the best to use with an auto cpap.

Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks

works great for me! You'll have to test it out for yourself... let us know how you do.

Puritan-Bennett, the makers of your new 420E also make a "narrow tube" interface called Breeze. The Puritan-Bennett website is clear that their Breeze is fully compatible with their 420E. I don't currently have a Aura interface however I have owned one in the past. I believe the "narrow tube" on the Aura is quite similar to the tube on the Breeze.

I'm inclined to think that you will be OK with the 420E/Aura combination relative to treatment. Comfort, well, that's a whole new ballgame. Hope it works for you!
