A piece of advice

Post by Babbie » Mon Jan 16, 2006 4:02 pm

Not that anyone's missed me, but haven't been on here for awhile. Just returned from my daughter's wedding in Australia (what a gorgeous place!!). I took my cpap along but didn't want to deal with the extra weight and bulkiness of my heated humidifier. Dumb, dumb, dumb!! I go to bed the first night there (exhausted I might add) and hose up. A couple of hours later I wake up and my nose and sinus cavities feel like they're literally on FIRE!! I noticed that it seemed drier down there (needed eye drops more often) so I really, really needed that humidifier that was sitting here in Missouri. You know, the one I didn't want to bother to take with me??? So I went for 2 weeks without using it at all. I must say though, I couldn't really tell a difference in my energy level or wanting to nod off but it could have been the excitement of just being there too. Anyway, my advice for folks traveling ----DO take your humidifier!!
