I got the Swift Pillows but my rep only had 5 and told me they were back ordered also. I love them because they are comfortable and do not block your face like other masks but the one thing they need to improve is the air flow noise . In fact, I wrote ResMed and told them and got a response. I have ...

Hi Bobby, I'm from the State of Georgia in the USA and I have been a "Hosehead" only since July 20, 2004 (of course I know it has been longer but just found out and put on a CPAP machine) and let me tell you that you are not alone in this big big boat. I ripped that mask off again and again and it t...

Jan, Tell them its new and its made by ResMed Swift Pillow System. They just came out August 23, 2004. I think they are on back order in a lot of places but I am sure your Tech can order you one. I had to keep bugging my Tech and I finally called him on Monday of this week and said that I heard he h...

Hi NLS, Yep, something else to clean (as if we don't have enough to do). It sounds like your cleaning schedule has worked for you since you have been doing this for 3 years now and no problems. I am new to this ballgame (July 2004) and I wash the humidifier/hose out in soapy water about every 2-3 da...

Hi Jan,

I hope you get one and I hope you like it. Its so frustrating first of all to have this disorder but to have to fight the hose, the mask, the feeling of claustrophobia is just overwhelming.

Keep me posted on your changes and take care and gets lots of zzzzz's really soon.

Hi Jan, Well, last night was the second night with my Swift and I slept from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. with one time getting up to go the bathroom. It is so comfortable and when you open your eyes....no obstructions in your face! I tried the medium nose pillow last night and tonight I will try the lar...

SWIFT PILLOWS

Hi Everyone, Well, my first night of using the "Swift" was last night and I give it a "10". I loved it! I went to bed at 11:00 p.m. and I ususally wake up 2 hours later to go the bathroom but I did not wake up until 4:00 a.m. (having to go really bad). I guess I was sleeping so soundly that I slept ...

Hi Sleepy-Me, You have only been on the CPAP therapy for 10 days. I started July 20th of this year and after 6 weeks, I finally kept the mask on all night. It takes time to get used to this new "bed buddy" as I call it and I was changed from a CPAP to an AutoPap machine because the high pressure all...

Hi Matt, I am new to sleep apnea and they first put me on a CPAP on July 20th of this year and I could not get used to it. After about a month of ripping off the mask and feeling like I was suffocating when the pressure got high, my Respiratory Therapist put me on an AutoPap to check to see what pre...

YOU AND ME BOTH..........I was overweight 60 pounds to begin with and the last year I gained another 20 so I have to lose 80 pounds. If I could only put the determination I have in conquering and living with this "Hosehead" paraphernalia, then I would be in business and 80 pounds thinner. Judy

I started on CPAP on July 20th and it has taken me a very long time to go through the whole night. I have ripped that mask off so many times, I have lost count. I am a nose breather...
