Re: Eligible for a New Machine-My Dilemma
There really is no reason to go with the Air 11. You have a ton of supplies and accessories that are Air 10 only. Since releasing the Air 11, in the few years of the 11, it has received more complaints than the 10's 10 year history. louder lack of accessories leaky hose attachment flaw heating syste...

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - Average data?
The best way is to stick an SD Card in it, download OSCAR, and then import your data into OSCAR for analysis.

Re: Camping at Elevation With Sever Apnea Again, Please Help
I'll bring two DieHard batteries, the ones you use to jumpstart a car ... it'll usually be enough for a night or two, and then I'll go recharge them somewhere ... I end up buying two again every year and even then sometimes they don't last. As Rubicon stated, make sure you have Deep-Cycle. Batterie...

Ironically, upon submitting the above post, the problem occurred and the post was lost. Fortunately, I buffered it with a CTRL-A, CTRL-C. How many have lost posts, or responses and then not bothered to recreate it. CPAP . com, do you give a crap about your forum members, many of whom are your retail...

Re: I'm getting really mad at CPAP.com
CPAP . COM (AKA: The absentee landlords) should be ashamed of themselves. The disrespect they show Pugsy, regular contributors, and users in need of assistance is obscene. These forums are not great because of them, they are great despite them. The forum's popularity is because of its members. Many ...

Re: Concerned/Worried - New Air Sense 11 AHI High
Oh, I did not think that high leak rates flag apneas. I thought if leak rates are too high that I would actually get more OAs, Hypopneas, etc., that the machine would flag. My thinking was that the machine can't provide sufficient pressure if leaks are too high to treat the apneas. No. These machin...

Uhhh... the link expired. Oh! Hard to read then. :D Apologies. The original link was for May 27. The past couple of nights have been better though. I didn't upload last night to SleepHQ yet, but I have May 28 to compare. See below: May 27 Link - High leak rate (time off by an hour): https://sleephq...

Re: Starting soon.... One more question.
I *never* wash my hose. I wash my tank and nasal cushion every week or so, in hot soapy water. I use tap water and don't get any mineral build up. I'm on my second hose in six years. I dropped and broke the first one. I'm on my second tank in 6 years. The original is still good, but the mask connect...

Re: Best travel CPAP with humidifier
I see some gadgets that connect to the tubing and capture moisture that replaces a humidifier. Are they any good? They are called Heat Moisture Exchangers. And they work for some people and others don't get much value. Buy a pack, turn off your humidity and try it, before investing in a portable CP...

Re: Best travel CPAP with humidifier
The only travel device, with a humidifier was the DreamStation Go. But I'm not sure they've have a safe foam replacement, or are available anymore. I would suggest not using a travel device. They are often : No humidity Noisy Expensive Not all that much smaller Expensive Not data capable Limited opt...

Re: AirCurve 11s are in But
I asked him about the water leaking and he said that is only happening with old people that don't use enough force to close push the water canister into the AirCurve 11. No. The lid has a Snap-Latch that it ensures it is closed completely and sealed. The tank also has a snap-Latch to ensure it is i...

Re: ResMed AirSense 10 "Smart Start" Doesn't Shut Down
These start/stop features cause more problems than they're worth I feel... just turn them off and use the button, what's so hard? Given that millions of ResMeds with SmartStart are used every night, and only a few report problems, I fail to see how feel they are more trouble then they are worth. Ad...
