Larry63--I agree. I'm looking into other causes on my own and with some help from Neurology (he's the only one so far willing to communicate with me). If I don't feel that this avenue is taking me anywhere, I will direct my focus elsewhere.
At least in my case, I think they looked at the overall picture in a black and white manner (you have OSA, machine will fix, goodbye), ignoring the hues of gray.....
So, I'm taking it upon myself to be the "Gray Area Investigator" LOL

I ditto that.Zeke351 wrote:You need one more option in your choices. For those few of us that are asymptomatic, i.e. never feel tired from OSA, there isn't a correct choice.

I know how difficult it can be - I'm in a similar situation.SnoozyQ wrote:Larry63--I agree. My primary doctor told me once, that a person that complains primarily of fatigue is the most difficult to diagnose. Typically nothing wrong is found.
I do think though, that if you're dx'd with OSA, than of course it makes sense to first treat that. That way, one cause of the fatigue can be ruled out.
Of course, exercise and good diet is important, but we all know that.

Re: Poll: how long before felt you had more energy?
Within 48hours I felt as if I was 15 years younger. I almost had too much energy. Went for a long run, cleaned the closet, fixed a broken door. I am 33 and went in to doc because of serious memory and speech issues. Study showed 41 AHI. I knew had to get help when l kept calling my boss the wrong name. I am on day two but I can say my energy went through the roof. More to follow if above issues are fixed.
Re: Poll: how long before felt you had more energy?
Unfortunately, there needs to be a "never" category.
