The nasal mask feels heavy and uncomfortable on my face, and I am constantly fussing with it when it starts to leak air. I tried the nasal pillows but the sound of my breathing kept me awake and I couldn't sleep on my side. Frustrating! Is there a soft flexible CPAP device for "moderate" apnea like mine?

Snoring MOM, there is nothing worse than a leaking mask.
You may want to try the light weight Hans Rudolph Nasal Mask.
You may be a candidate for that one as well.
You can go to the Hans Rudolph web site and request information.

If you are not happy with your mask, talk to your DME about your specific difficulties and see if they will not give you another. Mine gave me one to start with, then another in 4 days because I didn't like the first one. The number one route to happy cpapers is masks that fit. Check out some of the other posts for masks that people are happy with, then try to get one of them.
