Has anyone experienced this?

Ever since I started using the CPAP machine, in the morning and for part of the day I have a flushed or feverish feeling, like a hot flash (except I'm beyond that phase, or at least I thought!)? I have had my machine about 10 days. Thanks.

Geez, I've never experienced that at all! I did have an "other-worldly" feeling for a few days that I later identified as the feeling of actually being alert. Hadn't been alert in so many years I'd forgotten what it felt like, but I almost felt like I was on speed or diet drugs or something else weird. One day I was so alert I had trouble driving my car...there were so many things happening all around that I'd never noticed before that I had a hard time concentrating on my driving. Actually had to turn around and go back home, I was driving so badly. I've since gotten used to the feeling of being "normal", lol. Well, almost used to it anyway.....

But, nooooo, no hot flashes or flushed feelings at all.....Hmm. Don't know what that would be, but stay with your treatment and don't give up. If it is something caused by CPAP, it surely will go away after an adjustment period....But don't give up!

Sinus problem?!

I came down with a sinus infection within 5 days of starting my CPAP. I felt dizzy, flushed, and could not breathe well through my nose. Not good.

Guess I got guested... I posted the last message.

I would also add that in my case, I know it wasn't a hot flash.

I have the same feeling lately. I've been on CPAP for about one month and have noticed it for the last week or so. I suppose this could be due to a minor sinus infection, but it doesn't last all day long.
