Chris Henry and SDB?

Post by roster » Thu Dec 17, 2009 9:22 am

I am far from an expert on jaw size and structure. But I am wondering if Henry's jaw is an indication that he was suffering from SDB. The SDB could have been causing him severe emotional distress for years. What do you think?

He died, from his injuries in the accident:

Well, his hair looks like a typical CPAPer in the morning...

Hair?

Oh, Chris is the one on the left. My mistake for not reading captions the first time.

I don't believe in race. Sorry that you do and that it is a sensitive issue for you.

How can you not "believe" in race?

All scientific signs point to the conclusion that race doesn't exist. The further scientists go in sequencing the genome - the complete catalog of the genetic material found in every human cell - the more they realize there is no biological basis for our most contentious and divisive of social categories.

Moreover, science has repeatedly found far more variation within a given racial group than between racial groups. All scientific signs point to the conclusion that race doesn't exist. But the science is not what I am talking about. I made a decision 43 years ago that I would never believe in race. That the distinction would be no more significant than the difference between a person with blonde hair and a person with red hair. There is only one race of humans.

I am happy that 30 years later science is supporting my contention.

I believe in individualism. Others believe in group identity. I reject that. I believe in the self-worth of the individual.

BTW, if you look at the website, http://totallylookslike.com/, where that photo work came from, you will see those guys have no hint of racism on their site.

Rooster, thanks for sharing your views on 'mankind'. I just wish you would have cropped the picture to exclude irrelevant matter. Considering the sobriety of the situation, I find it in poor taste.

I consider it relevant because someone who probably knows nothing about jaw size and OSA correlation, already likened the facial strucure as narrow jawed and long necked.

That I understand, but I am usually in a fire, ready, aim mode when on the forum and make no commitment to change from that mode.
